Iridology is the study of the iris and the various signs and markings that can be seen that gives us clues about different parts of the body. Iridology has a long history and has been around for hundreds of years. It is not diagnostic in nature, but it can give us information about our overall constitutions, meaning our inherited strengths and weaknesses. This information can be invaluable when determining which parts of our bodies may need extra support in order to maintain wellness. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and perhaps you are curious what your eyes say.
To have an iridology reading done, you will need to book a reading appointment. Readings are not done live, but instead will be completed from pictures. Once your payment is received, you will need to send unedited image files to Olivia. An iridology analysis will be emailed back to you once it is complete. The clearer the image, the more that can be read. The images above were taken with a good quality cell phone camera, so it is not necessary to have a special camera. To ensure that your images are high quality, you will need someone to help you take pictures. The pupils need to be somewhat contracted, so ensure there is good lighting or use one hand to hold a light shining toward your eye (not directly on it – note the light reflection on the above images makes that part of the eye impossible to see clearly). Use the other hand to hold the eyelids open while your helper gets a very close photo and focuses the camera on your eye before taking the photo. Take a photo of each eye separately and do not edit the images before sending them.
